      John's children are all named in his will. Division of goods held Jan. 16th, 1759 recorded in Deed & Will Book No. 7, p. 336 DIVISION OF ESTATE John Curd, DECEASED GOOCHLAND COUNTY Virginia. JANUARY 16, 1759 In obedience to an Order of Goochland Court we have assigned to Elizabeth Curd widow of John Curd, Dec'd her dower of the Goochland County Court records. said Decedants estate and divided the remainder among the orphans of the said Decedant in manner following, vizt.

      To the aforesaid Elizabeth Curd we have assigned three negro's namely Dinah a Wench, Jenny a Wench & Harry a Boy, as her full & Equal third part of all the negroes 58--4--5 after paying her acct agst the said estate of 12--5--9 as her full third part of the chattels.

      To John Curd Orphan of the said Decedant we have assigned a negro girl named Hannah and a negro Boy named Quality, provided he pay to Elizabeth his sister Ten Shillings Currt. Money on Demand.

      To William Curd orphan of the Decedant we have assigned a negro man named Jo Provided he pay Elizabeth his sister sixteen pounds & unto James his brother seven pounds ten shillings on Demand.

      To Joseph Curd we have assigned a negro woman named Sarah provided he pays his brother James three pounds ten shillings on Demand.

      To Mary Curd orphan &c. we have assigned a negro woman named Nan provided she pay her brother James ten shillings & her sister Ann three pounds on Demand.

      To Charles Curd orphan &c. we have assigned a negro man named Will Provided he pay unto his sister Ann thirteen pounds ten shillings upon Demand.

      To James Curd Orphan &c. we have assigned a negro girl named Rachel & one Negro boy named George and that he receive seven pounds ten shillings from his Brother William & three pounds ten shillings from his Brother Joseph & ten shillings from his sister Mary.

      To Elizabeth Curd Orphan &c., we have assigned one negro boy named Louis and one negro girl named Almy and that she receive ten shillings from her Brother John and sixteen pounds from her Brother William.

      To Ann Curd Orphan &c. we have assigned one Negro Boy named Jack and that she receive thirteen pounds ten shillings from her Brother William, And to each of the orphans aforesaid we have assigned fourteen pounds Eleven Shillings one penny half penny as their equal parts of the personal estate of the Decedant after paying the administrator's acct. agst. the said estate of twelve pounds five shillings & nine pence half penny a pr. acct. annexed.
